MY WORK
When I start with a lump of clay, I often only have a rough idea of what I want to do. And sometimes something happens by chance that makes the ceramics unique and loved.
My inspirations are the shapes and surfaces of nature. I like the soft lines of flowers, waves and leaves as well as the surfaces of tree bark.
And of course, Finland and especially the city of Rauma inspires me with its atmosphere and its lace tradition. With my "Doors of Old Rauma" I try to capture the beauty of this unique city.
I also really enjoy photographing my work and arranging it into a scene. All photos were taken by me. If you find one particularly beautiful or would like to use it, please feel free to contact me.
For my ceramics I use high-quality stoneware clay and glazes.
